About

Fahad's work on a 3D-printed fully integrated wireless sensor node has been accepted in Advanced Materials Technologies by Wiley-VCH.

This work for the first time ever, reports the utilization of additive manufacturing such as 3D printing and inkjet printing to develop fully printed sensors on the walls of the node package making it a functional package. Hence a 3D-printed system-on-package has been developed. The node can sense temperature, humidity and H2S levels; which can be wirelessly communicated using onboard integrated antenna and electronics.
Possible applications include early warnings in cases of wild fires and industrial leaks.
