IMPACT Lab Team (Vaseem, Hanguang) Wins Best Technical Paper Award at IEEE-IMAS 2025
About
IMPACT Lab team has won the Best Technical Paper Award at IEEE International Microwave and Antenna Symposium (IMAS 2025). The paper, first authored by Mohammad Vaseem, and co-authored by Hanguang Liao and Atif Shamim is titled “Additive Manufacturing of RF Components with Stereolithography (SLA) and Silver Ink: A Material Efficient Approach”. This paper presents a novel method for fabricating radio-frequency (RF) components using additive manufacturing. The work highlights a sustainable and material-efficient approach combining SLA-based 3D printing and conductive silver inks and reflects the team’s strong commitment to innovation in advanced manufacturing and RF technologies.
IEEE-IMAS is an international conference that is co-sponsored by IEEE AP and MTT societies, particularly for the African and Middle eastern region. It brings together experts, researchers, and industry leaders in the fields of microwaves, antennas, and electromagnetics. The event serves as a platform to explore cutting-edge advancements, emerging trends, and real-world applications in wireless communications, radar, and sensing systems.
