I decided to join KAUST because of its outstanding environment and the exceptional quality of its professors, postdocs, and students. The university's recent focus on applied research resonates deeply with my background, which spans both academic and industrial domains. This alignment presents a unique opportunity to transform our theoretical concepts into tangible innovations, ultimately contributing to the advancement of society.
